Jon May - Play the music EP (MAYREC001) OUT NOW !!!
Das opening vom ersten Release von May Recordings auf der A-Seite mit dem track
"Bush breaks", donnert der Techno Track ins Feld, es geht mit diesem Track
richtig mega zur Sache. Mit "Smile" auf der A2 Seite wird der Techno-Sound
etwas grooviger und mit african flair zu genießen.
Auf der B-Seite wird einem klar, dass Jon May sich nicht auf einen Stil
verewigt. Denn mit "Scratch time" wird einem ein richtig treibender
Electro-Track ins Ohr grütelt und die Abgehakte scratch Stimme passt und
kombiniert sich sehr gut in diesem Track. Zu guter letzt auf der B2 Seite gibt
es noch zum besten klickenden Minimal-Sound mit "Side steps", das mit einer
Mainfloor Bass der Höhepunkt ist und rundet somit die EP ab.
Eine sehr gelungende und abwechslungsreiche Vinyl mit 4 Tracks.
